Janet Rogers is an artist who follows the traditional path of making stained glass
panels for windows and doors.
“My work consists of many visual forms with references from landscape, geometry and colour. The majority of designs involve bright, vivid, bold colour and texture to make my pieces stand out against the minimalist colour palette of today. Artists which have inspired my work are Andy Warhol and Damien Hurst who both use different colours and tones, not to compliment each other or generate a specific mood to a piece but simply to create a statement and engage the viewers sensual mind.”
